Hi Yee Tong, Great to see that you have achieved the goals you've set, it is always great to see when people achieved what they set out for. As I had said earlier in week 5, you helped our previous group by resolving any interpersonal conflicts we had and was our unofficial mediator. Seeing that you have grown further in that aspect really makes me ponder if this really is your gift. On the part on non-verbal communication, i also had issue in that in the start and we managed to resolve it together, all of this is done not only with our perseverance but through the collective effort of the class likewise. It’s already week 14 and the trimester is coming to a closure, reflecting upon the first post, the me then seemed to be slightly insensitive. Reflecting seemed more like a trip down memory lane in which here’s a recap on my first post, I committed to able to confidently speak to a crowd and to be able to be an active listener which to an extent value other’s opinion. For my first objective I tasked myself in this course, I have made progress in such matters. Given the many opportunities in this course, I was able to present myself more confidently in front of my classmates and being provided with the proper materials, I was able to improve in my public speaking ability. Content such as inducing a “power pose” in which one would not only be perceived as more confident, but also feel more confident in which placebo may play its part. Furthermore, the resource provided in the tutorial group notes also supplemented my growth in the area. An instance would be on introducing the pr...
